Master sound conspirator, Tristan Shone, will bring his cacophonous manifestation of cold, mechanical doom known as AUTHOR & PUNISHER to the streets in the coming months for a clobbering run of live takeovers.  

Taking a page from heroes METALLICA and GUNS N’ ROSES, Los Angeles breakthrough metal act, BUTCHER BABIES, have recorded an EP of cover tunes that will surely please fans of the band, as well as fans of the artists that performed them originally.  

Before you get down to moshing in the privacy of your own home, do some serious partying in either Los Angeles or New York when Anthrax’s “Chile On Hell” live DVD is premieres on Monday, September 15, the day before its general release.  

“Unending, Everliving,” the gruesome new music video by SKELETONWITCH hits the interewebs today for all to see!!! The track — taken from 2013’s acclaimed “Serpents Unleashed” — was put to film by Cleveland, Ohio’s Turnstyle Films, with whom the band also collaborated on the promo clips for “I Am Of Death (Hell Has Arrived)” and “Serpents Unleashed.” SKELETONWITCH guitarist Nate “N8 Feet Under” Garnette says, “This video was a hell of a lot of fun to shoot and is saturated with fake blood — or is it? — as well as torture. My favorite part was getting to hose off a bloody-ass Chance (Garnette, vocals) with freezing cold...

New wave of British heavy metal and thrash legends RAVEN have confirmed that they will be touring North America this fall as part of the “North American Extermination Tour 2014”. It was recently announced that RAVEN has signed a worldwide deal with SPV/Steamhammer and their new studio album and follow up to Walk Through Fire is set for a release in February 2015.  

Multi-platinum rock band Avenged Sevenfold’s highly anticipated release, Waking The Fallen: Resurrected, is available today via Hopeless Records. Personally curated by the band, the release is a rare, never before seen look at their genre defining, seminal album Waking The Fallen. The new three-disc set includes the original studio album, new artwork, 11 previously unreleased b-sides, live and alternate versions of songs, three music videos and a 30 minute documentary with never before seen live footage from some of the band’s earliest shows.
