Hardcore/metalcore veterans Integrity are still at it and going as strong as ever. Much to the appeasement of everyone, the band announced today that their new album, Howling, For The Nightmare Shall Consume will be releasing this year. Due out on Relapse Records, Howling will be the band’s first studio album since 2013’s Suicide Black Snake.
Shining is no stranger to controversy, seeing as the band has been thriving off of both good and bad press for their entire career. Front man Niklas Kvarforth has seemingly made it his entire career to be the most controversial figure in the depths of extreme metal, with the band’s first US run being surrounded by controversy because of his actions on stage. Their current US tour is no different.
Invidia has officially announced the addition of Evan Seidlitz as the newest member of the band, replacing vocalist Travis Johnson on the upcoming “Screaming Black Curse” tour with All Hail The Yeti and supporting act Broken Rail. Seidlitz is no stranger to the frontman spotlight, known for his work in Vyces, Thrown Into Exile, and Grimace.
Danish composer and classically trained multi-instrumentalist, MYRKUR unveils her forthcoming album title Mareridt, out this fall on Relapse. It is the follow up to her masterful debut M, released back in 2015 to overwhelming critical acclaim. Mareridt was produced between Seattle and Copenhagen by Randall Dunn who is known for his work with Marissa Nadler, Earth, Sunn O))), Boris, Wolves In The Throne Room and more.
