On May 8th, 2012, Goomba will be serving up a triple shot of extreme metal with the domestic releases of CREMATORY’s Infinity, LEGION OF THE DAMNED’s Descent Into Chaos and CRIMINAL’s Akelarra. All three albums have been previously released overseas via Massacre Records, but have not been available in North America until now.

If you haven’t heard of LEGION OF THE DAMNED until now, you have probably been in deep slumber for the last years. The Dutch band appeared on the scene in 2006 with their strong debut “Malevolent Rapture”, delivered the same quality on “Sons of The Jackal” in 2007 and convinced with “Feel The Blade” for the third time in 2008.
The quartet took the hearts of thousands of fans by playing Thrash-/Death Metal in its purest and most brutal form and electrifies even the mostly spoiled audience at their furious gigs. The tight interaction, the elemental force and last but not least the extremely long hair of the musicians breed an enormous stage presence and bring a feeling back into Thrash, that has been present back in the Eighties for the last time. Now the band returns with its latest effort “Descent Into Chaos”, and steps forward without getting loose of their trademarks.

Formed in Santiago, Chile in late 1991 by Anton Reisenegger, former leader of Chilean cult death metal act Pentagram, CRIMINAL enjoyed a meteoric rise within the South American metal scene. The band secured support slots with such heavyweights as Kreator, Sepultura, Slayer, Exodus, Motörhead, and many more. The resulting momentum from heavy rotation of their videos on MTV Latino allowed CRIMINAL to tour most of South America, selling in excess of 20,000 copies of their first two records in Chile alone.
