In celebration of their 25th anniversary, New Orleans’ legendary purveyors of hardcore, blues-based, post-amplified audio wreckage, EYEHATEGOD, are pleased to announce three very special performances next month. The ruckus begins September 13 where EYEHATEGOD will return to the Ottobar in Baltimore for the first time since 2009, alongside New York Hardcore progenitors Agnostic Front and Cro Mags and the original lineup of LA crossover legends Final Conflict! That same weekend, EYEHATEGOD will cause maritime chaos for the second time as part of The Rocks Off Boatshow! Confirmed dates and ticket links are included below.  

Slayer will headline concerts at two venues it Slayer AdMat hasn’t played in 25 years – the Hollywood Palladium on Monday, October 28, and New York’s Theater at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, November 27, the night before Thanksgiving. Gojira and 4ARM will support.  

Masters of medieval metal, the mighty GWAR, are poised to return to the world of man as today they announced the first leg of their massive “Madness at the Core of Time” world tour, in support of their new album, Battle Maximus, which is out September 17th on Metal Blade Records. The tour, which features a completely brand-new show full of slavering creatures and deserving victims, is set to kick off October 2nd in Columbus, Ohio and runs through November 17th in Washington, DC. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 2nd.  

British Hard Rock legends UFO have confirmed that they will be returning to North America this Fall. The tour kicks off October 10th in Poughkeepsie, NY and is currently scheduled to wrap up October 22nd in Dallas, TX.  More dates are expected to be announced shortly.  

Katatonia, Sweden’s master of dark rock, has announced a co-headlining North American tour, “Uncrowned & Vertikal Tour,” with Cult of Luna plus special guests Intronaut and TesseracT. The two-week run will commence September 23 in Boston, Mass. VIP packages will be available next week, along with the public on-sales beginning Friday, August 9.  

BROKEN HOPE have unveiled the album cover for their long-awaited new album ‘OMEN OF DISEASE.’ The album will be released October 1 in North America on Century Media Records, with cover artwork painted by world-renowned horror artist Wes Benscoter, best known for his work with SLAYER, CATTLE DECAPITATION, AUTOPSY and KREATOR.  

The venue for Philip Anselmo & The Illegals’ August 16 show in New York has been moved from the Best Buy Theatre to The Gramercy Theatre. In addition, tickets will be priced at the more nominal $22.50, and can be purchased here or at The Gramercy box office. Doors open at 7:30 and the show will begin at 8:30PM. Those holding tickets for Best Buy can obtain a refund at the point-of-purchase.  

Avenged Sevenfold today revealed “Hail To The King”, the blistering first single and title track from the band’s forthcoming sixth studio album due out on August 27th via Warner Bros. Records. Chicago metal legends TROUBLE returned with their first album since ‘Simple Mind Condition’, released in 2007.  The album entitled The Distortion Field features 13 tracks and is available now on FRW Records in North America and in Europe on July 26th, 2013.  

Gwar has announced their long-awaited new album Battle Maximus will be released September 17 via Metal Blade. It will be the first appearance of the newest Gwar member, Pustulus Maximus (known by the mortal name Brent Purgason, he of Cannibis Corpse) and if this new track is any idea of what is to come, there is going to be some serious slash up in there.

2013 is shaping up to be the year of HUNTRESS, following the release of their critically acclaimed album Starbound Beast.  The band has been taking part in the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and will be touring North America with Danzig immediately following their run on Mayhem and their appearance at the Heavy MTL festival.
