The legendary metal band has cancelled the remainder of their tour following the health scares that happened to Lemmy, the lead singer and bassist for the band. He was though to have contracted some form of hematoma. The band had cancelled a select few shows through their tour of Europe after a few incidents and have since decided to take themselves off of the bill from this point forward.  

Amon Amarth decided to make a rather big impression on the Mayhem Festival this summer by bringing a viking ship with them. Their new album, Deciever of the Gods is out now. These vikings wanted to make imminently sure that people would remember them. If this involved crafting a viking hull on stage then count them in.  

Nine Inch Nails is back. Their new album Hesitation Marks will be released on September 3rd of this year and their single “Came Back Haunted” has been released accompanied by a music video done by David Lynch.  

Following their recent performance at the Fifth Annual Scion Fest in Memphis, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY has announced live assaults for August. In addition to their already planned participation at Gwar’s annual BBQ, the trio will perform a headlining show in Wilmington, Delaware before heading to South America for a string of dates. The August shows mark a break from continued work in the recording studio on the band’s new album, expected for release in early 2014. “We need a little escape from the studio,” comments vocalist/bassist Mike Dean. “We thought it would be good to see the light of the day a little bit. We are excited to play Brazil, Peru, Columbia, and Argentina for the first time ever. Of course... 

D.O.A., the Hardcore Punk Kings are gearing up for a farewell tour of the America’s midwest and east coast this September. As well they will tour Europe and the U.K. this October. Canada’s punk godfather Joe Keithley will lead his talented henchmen: Dirty Dan Sedan (bass) and JJ Heath (drums) on a punk rock rampage to forty, soon to be shaken to the core, cities this fall. Volbeat returns to North America on August 23rd to headline the third installment of the Monster Energy Rock Allegiance Tour.  Since the band returned to Europe as a festival headliner for the late-Spring and Summer, their growth has shown no signs of slowing down.

After wrapping up their international Blood In Blood Out Tour, Hollywood Undead are heading back on the road headlining the House Of Blues 20th Anniversary Tour with support from Escape The Fate and All Hail The Yeti. The coast to coast US tour starts June 26th with their finale in Hollywood, CA on July 31st.

Unearth has jumped ship from Metal Blade Records and have landed gracefully on EOne for their next album release. Their album is going to be coming out this year with special guest appearances from the one, the only, Lamb of God. This is all very fantastic news!
