Unique Leader Records, label hideaway of all things technical, extreme and flagrantly brutal, in cooperation with the sound assassins at Rock The Nation USA, is pleased to announce their first annual label showcase next month. Set to take place on June 15th at The Black Castle in Los Angeles, the scathing, ten-band takeover will feature ear-bleeding performances by Disgorge (USA), Condemned, Arkaik, Unmerciful, Inanimate Existence, The Kennedy Veil, Alterbeast, Euphoric Defilement, Omnihility, and special guests, Mouth Of The Serpent.

ABRE OJOS is the audiovisual project of Scott Baker, a multimedia artist from Melbourne, Australia with over 20 years’ experience working across the areas of installation, experimental music, video and illustration. Baker’s ABRE OJOS is an exploration of synesthetic modalities using geometric animations and extreme audio frequencies. ABRE OJOS has released multiple DVDs and has performed live all over Australia, including performances at the Eclipse Festival 2012 and for the past four years at the Rainbow Serpent Festival.

As some of you know, a while back Killswitch Engage split with their second vocalist, Howard Jones. The split was fairly amicable, by all accounts, and the band moved on to recruit their first singer, Jesse Leach (Times of Grace), back into the fold of KSE. Now, after hearing nothing from Mr. Jones, we have a brand new band with a familiar face throwing some aggression at our listening holes: Devil You Know.

Gypsyhawk will be hitting the road again this summer for a series of headlining shows, as well as shows with Black Pussy and Scattered Hamlet! The tour begins on Tuesday in LA at Club Loaded, and wraps up on July 18 in Reno, NV. The extensive tour will see the band performing brand new songs while they wind their way across towns in Canada, the pacific northwest, the Midwest, and the east coast.
