Swedish death metal unit, AEON, will begin their march through North America this evening on the Devastation On The Nation Tour featuring headliners Origin and Krisiun. Set to embark in Crest Hill, Illinois, the Metal Injection-sponsored live takeover will decimate nearly three-dozen venues through October 5th. Additional support will be provided by Alterbeast, Soreption and Ingested.

Texas-based DEAD TO A DYING WORLD has completed their immense sophomore album, Litany, and plans to release the record this October alongside a Western US tour. In advance of its release, DEAD TO A DYING WORLD exclusively premiered “Beneath The Loam” as the first single from the record to be made publicly available.  

Now it ENDS, the final tour by the greatest Metal Band of all time, BLACK SABBATH. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler close the final chapter in the final volume of the incredible BLACK SABBATH story.  

Battleground Records has hammered out a deal with Los Angeles area-based black/death metal quartet, DECEIVE, for the release of the band’s forthcoming debut album. The band is currently writing and demoing material for the record, with plans of entering the studio to record later this year and releasing the LP in 2016.  

Philadelphia psychedelic rock trio, WIZARD EYE, will release its self-titled new full-length this Fall via Black Monk Records. Recorded in three days at Haddon Heights, New Jersey’s Gradwell House Studios with the imminently irascible and talented Steve Poponi behind the board and mastered by Dave Downham, the long-awaited follow-up to the band’s 2010 Orbital Rites debut takes WIZARD EYE‘s signature brand of mind-bending riffs and kaleidoscopic soundscapes to a new level of titanic glory. A fusion of bottom-heavy grooves, fiery fuzz, churning bass, otherworldly effects and raw vocals with roots still planted firmly into the lysergic soil of ’70s acts like Hawkwind, Budgie, Blue Cheer, Captain... 

Scion AV, whose partnership with iconic thrash metal outfit, Slayer, birthed the now legendary Slayer-inspired tC sports coupe, have joined forces to offer fans a free download of the song “You Against You”.

Tokyo, Japan-based VIVISICK will drop their ravenous new second full-length later this month via Tankcrimes Records. Titled, Nuked Identity, the ten-track bruiser and follow-up to 2008’s smoldering Respect And Hate long player was tracked at Sonic Band Studio in Tokyo, mixed and mastered at UGA Chaotic and boasts twenty-three-minutes of deliciously manic hardcore punk doused in boisterous singalongs, melody and wackiness for fans of The Stalin, Toy Dolls, 625 and traditional Japcore.
