“Struck By A Murderous Siege” – DERANGED‘s first studio album in five years and ninth altogether – was recorded at Berno Studio (Amon Amarth, The Crown, Witchery) in Malmö, Sweden, and was followed by a special compilation release, “Postmortem Rituals”, featuring a collection of rare demo tapes and 7″ singles (all remastered from original DAT tapes). The album’s cover artwork was created by Mike Hrubovcak (Grave, Six Feet Under, Sinister).  

Atlantic recording group In This Moment has announced plans for a major North American tour. The “Half God Half Devil Tour” begins Friday, April 7th at Milwaukee, WI’s Eagles Ballroom and then continues through mid-May (see attached itinerary). The Los Angeles-based hard rock band will be joined throughout the trek by Motionless In White, Avatar, and Gemini Syndrome. Stephen Pearcy‘s fourth original solo album, “Smash” is out today via Frontiers Music Srl.  Stephen Pearcy, best known as the original vocalist and founding member of the platinum rock band RATT, has crafted an album that will surely please fans of the Ratt ‘N Roll style he is known for, while also pushing himself into new rock ‘n roll terrain.

EYEHATEGOD frontman Mike IX Williams successfully underwent a liver transplant last month and continues a slow road to recovery. The IX Lives IX Lives Benefit, set to commence in Williams’ hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana this coming weekend, was organized to help with his mounting medical expenses. The three-day event will take place at Siberia and Poor Boys venues and includes appearances by Crowbar, Superjoint, Goatwhore, Thou, Classhole, Mountain Of Wizard, and many more acts bound together for the cause.

The Devil Wears Prada will kick off 2017 with a special limited edition vinyl release of their new album, Transit Blues (Rise Records), set to be available mid-to-late February.  The album will be pressed on 180g black vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve with a rigid slipcase.
