Metal Blade Records has proudly re-signed Arch/Matheos for a worldwide deal! Arch/Matheos began as a reunion between founding Fates Warning members John Arch (vocals) and Jim Matheos (guitar), who hadn’t collaborated since John Arch’s solo EP, A Twist Of Fate (2003) – and hadn’t fully collaborated for a whole album since Fates Warning‘s Awaken the Guardian (1986).

Blabbermouth reported today that Huntress lead vocalist Jill Janus has committed suicide as per Facebook posts from her former band mates. Janus, 43, was one of the more prominent women in heavy metal in recent  years.  

Five-piece nature-core band, from Tokyo, Japan, Earthists., have released their second full-length album, ‘LIFEBINDER.’ The band had the opportunity to work with several talented people throughout the recording process. Starting August 21st with NONPOINT in Lexington, KY, GEARS will join ALL THAT REMAINS in Columbus, OH with the tour winding through the East and Midwest and down South, finishing September 28th in Charleston, WV.
