Chicago, Illinois-based death metal act Warforged is proud to officially announce their signing to extreme metal label The Artisan Era. The group will be working with the label to release their first full-length album in the spring of 2019. After garnering widespread acclaim with the release of their 2014 EP, Essence Of The Land, the group has worked hard the last few years to craft a fitting follow up to that highly praised effort.  

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH have announced today (12/18) that after 14 years drummer Jeremy Spencer will be leaving the band. After sitting out the Fall leg of the group’s recent co-headlining tour with Breaking Benjamin, Jeremy underwent a second back surgery and will need a significant amount of time to recover; the band fully supports his decision.  

Phoenix-based thrash icons, Sacred Reich are thrilled to announce the return of former drummer Dave McClain to their ranks, following his departure from Bay Area metal outfit Machine Head last month after 23 years on the drum throne. Before joining Machine Head, McClain played drums for Sacred Reich for four years between 1991 and 1995.  

To celebrate the first anniversary of their hugely successful self-titled album Asking Alexandria have released a brand new animated video for track ‘Vultures’. The video follows a challenging, dark and bleakly honest narrative that perfectly accompanies the lyrical theme of the song.  

Parkway Drive and Killswitch Engage have announced a massive co-headline tour, dubbed “Collapse the World.” The trek will take place in Spring 2019, kicking off on April 18 in San Francisco and running through May 16 in Milwaukee. After The Burial will be in the lineup as support and the tour will be sponsored by Revolver. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, December 21 at 10am local time.  

Following their Northeast US Coast headlining mini-tour as well as their set at The Power Of The Riff in Los Angeles, Washington, DC-based DARKEST HOUR announces new tour through Canada for early 2019. The Canadian leg of the Death To False Metalcore Tour will see the band performing across Eastern Canada from January 31st through February 8th, co-headlining with Unearth with support from The Agony Scene.

Entertainment One (eOne) has signed Denton, Texas’ CREEPING DEATH to a worldwide deal with plans to release an all-new LP next year. With an origin story from a state with so much metal history, the band is eager to enter the studio.

Grammy nominated Danish band Volbeat confirms seventeen new tour dates with Godsmack throughout the U.S. and Canada in April and May of 2019. The tour will kick off with a string of dates in U.S. as special guests to Godsmack before the pair embark on a cross-country coheadline tour of Canada (full dates below). Swedish trio MONOLORD announce North American headlining tour dates throughout Spring 2019. The 22-date tour commences April 19 in San Diego, CA and ends, May 11 in Orange County, CA. Includes two festival performances at the inaugural Psycho Smokeout 420 & Desert Fest NYC.
