August 9, 2010 – Guitarists Luke Hoskin and Tim Millar from revered Canadian metal band, Protest The Hero, recently created a guitar tab book for their 2008 chart-topping album Fortress and have now completed another for their 2006 debut album, Kezia. The spiral bound book includes transcriptions for each of the ten songs on Kezia and an introduction – all written exclusively by the band members.

Producer Keith Olsen certainly has a knack for spotting talent – over the years he has overseen the creation of some truly mammoth rock records – namely Ozzy Osbourne’s ‘No Rest for the Wicked’, Whitesnake’s ‘Slide It In’, and the Scorpions’ ‘Crazy World’. Logan is in some splendid company with Olsen at the helm of the group’s first world wide release, ‘The Great Unknown.’

Heavy metal’s two lovable goof balls seem to be on the verge of returning to their famous couch in 2011. Word has it that the show that Kip Winger blamed for his career demise will be coming back to MTV and creator Mike Judge will helm 30 new episodes to air on the cable channel.

Naughty Bear Review by Mike Fairservice When you first hear the name Naughty Bear, you think of something on Teletoon or Treehouse, this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Naughty Bear does start off like a typical children’s story: “Oh Naughty Bear, you sure look different than the other bears.  Your stuffing is loose, stitched are wrong, part of your ear is missing and you look dirty and are all stained. Southern California’s Avenged Sevenfold have just unveiled the artwork for their upcoming album, Nightmare, which in-stores on July 27th. The band will also be releasing a special limited edition of their upcoming album on Warner Bros. Records.
