Marvel Comics’ highly anticipated foray into the iconic and terrifying universe of the Alien franchise hits shelves today. ALIEN #1 by writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson and artist Salvador Larocca begins an exploration of never-before-seen corners of the Alien universe that has delighted both longtime fans and newcomers to the legendary horror/science-fiction saga, selling over 300,000 copies. Now, Marvel Comics is happy to announce that the sold out debut issue will be returning to comic shops on April 28th with a second printing, complete with a haunting new cover by Salvador Larocca.

IDW Games and Sony Pictures Consumer Products announced today that their upcoming game, “Ghostbusters x Men in Black: Ecto-terrestrial Invasion”, is planned for release in fall 2021, with a preorder initiative taking place from March 15th through April 2nd.

Freestyle Digital Media has announced the cable, satellite and Digital HD release of Witness Infection, from filmmaking team Carlos Alazraqui and Jill-Michele Melean and director Andy Palmer. The festival favorite living dead comedy will be available March 30th on a number of digital and cable platforms.

Warner Bros. has announced they are going the reboot the Superman franchise. With author and journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates writing and J.J Abrams’ Bad Robot label producing, there is still no word of a director attached to the project. Deadline reports that the project is a “reboot” of the Superman “Man of Steel” film. It is unclear if Henry Cavill will return as Supes again. Coates is responsible for a couple of Marvel Comics series ranging from Captain America to Black Panther. There are rumors going around that Michael B. Jordan might be up for wearing the cape and tights. IGN reported that Michael B. Jordan was being considered to play Superman when Henry Cavill was considering leaving...
