Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has dropped. This film will star Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, Ronny Chieng, and Michelle Yeoh. The storyline follows Shang-Chi who is made to look to his past while being brought into the Ten Rings. The film is scheduled to be released on September 3rd, 2021.

Throughout the week, StarWars.com has revealed a series of teasers spotlighting the major players of the highly-anticipated Marvel Comics crossover, STAR WARS: WAR OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS! Drawn by artist Giuseppe Camuncoli, these headshot images will also serve as variant covers for upcoming tie-in issues of the event that will see Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Doctor Aphra, Boba Fett, the galaxy’s deadliest bounty hunters, and more on a collision course for the greatest prize of all: Han Solo! The final teaser was unveiled today and revealed that Jabba the Hutt, the infamous Tatooine crime lord, will also be joining the hunt in a special one-shot.

Joe Cornish will be directing an adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic, Starlight. Starlight follows the story of hero Duke McQueen who is who saved the universe. When he returns to Earth, no one believes his story. Years later in his older years, he is called on once again for one final mission. Deadline reports that Joe Cornish will be writing and directing the film under 20th Century Studios and will be produced by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon.

Let me just start out by saying any time you can get some monsters on a screen fighting each other it’s a good time. We live in a world of great CGI so that just enhances the enjoyment of monsters on screen. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this film. Was the storyline excellent? No. Was the whole movie still enjoyable? Absolutely. The movie has a pretty easy plot of “only one Titan can remain on earth and be the best and they will hunt each other until one prevails”. Alexander Skarsgård plays scientist Nathan Lind who is contacted about a theory that there is a place called Hollow Earth where the Titan’s originated from that contains a power source big enough to negate the threat of Godzilla and can...
