Today, NEUROSIS confirms the band’s invitation to perform at this year’s upcoming installment of the massive Heavy Montréal Festival, in Montréal, Quebec. NEUROSIS is one of the latest acts to be confirmed for Heavy Montréal, having just been announced alongside the likes of The Devin Townsend Project, Sanctuary, Obscura, Cattle Decapitation, Revocation, and more, joining the roster of artists already confirmed to play at this year’s event, including Slipnot, Faith No More, Korn, Lamb Of God, Iggy Pop, NOFX, Mastodon, Meshuggah, Testament, Nuclear Assault, and countless others. With GOATSNAKE‘s newest LP in a decade-and-a-half, Black Age Blues, nearing its unveiling in early June, this weekend the band has several special Southern California pre-release actions planned. First up, this Saturday, May 2nd the band will venture out to secluded Pioneertown for a one-off show at Pappy and Harriet’s. The next day, Sunday, May 3rd, sees the band hosting a public record listening party in Los Angeles where members of GOATSNAKE will be in attendance and fans can hear the entire album a full month before its release.
Italy’s Destrage have plotted their summer months with a batch of festivals throughout Europe. The first scheduled festival is the April 30th Festival Rama in Italy, followed by appearances at the immensely popular With Full Force (Germany) and Bloodstock (UK) festivals in July and August, respectively.

Titled Tabula Rasa and slated for release this Winter, the record will be tracked by J. Robbins of Jawbox at Magpie Cage Studio in Baltimore, Maryland next month.
