Earlier this year, Marvel Entertainment announced that the PLANET OF THE APES franchise will return to Marvel Comics with all-new stories starting in early 2023! The legendary science fiction franchise has spanned over five decades with media including comics, books, films, television series, video games, and toys and now it’s the dawn of a new era! To celebrate the launch of the upcoming PLANET OF THE APES comic series, some of Marvel’s biggest talents have crafted stunning variant covers depicting Marvel super heroes trapped on a world ruled by apes! Just like the groundbreaking film series, these scenes range from action-packed to poignant and will grace the covers of Marvel’s hottest titles throughout February!

Next month, Iron Man suits up for a brand-new era just in time for his 60th anniversary! Written by Gerry Duggan and drawn by Juan Frigeri, INVINCIBLE IRON MAN will begin with Tony Stark hitting rock bottom after a host of villains surface to take him down, from classic foes like the Living Laser, to brand-new rivals, like Feilong.  

Multiple Eisner Award winning grand masters Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips—of Reckless, Pulp, Criminal, and Kill or Be Killed fame—with colors by Jacob Phillps (That Texas Blood), will bring fans another sure-fire hit in the upcoming, Night Fever. This original graphic novel will hit shelves in June 2023 from Image Comics.  

Just in time for the character’s 60th anniversary, writer Gerry Duggan and artist Juan Frigeri will launch a brand-new ongoing Iron Man comic series in December! INVINICIBLE IRON MAN will put the armored Avenger’s high-flying abilities, genius intellect, and business savvy to the ultimate test when he experiences a devastating defeat at the hands of a villain that’s been making big waves throughout the Marvel Universe.  

This past weekend at the Lucca Comics & Games festival, Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski and legendary artist John Romita Jr. gave attendees a special sneak peek at what’s on the horizon for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN! Fans finally got to see the epic cover of February’s DARK WEB FINALE #1, the startling conclusion to the X-Men/Spider-Man crossover that’s going to ignite the holiday season come December! It was also revealed that AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #19 and #20 will be a two-part guest arc by two Spidey superstars: Joe Kelly and Terry Dodson! Readers of Zeb Wells’ current run have seen that Peter Parker and Felicia Hardy’s love affair is in full swing and now two of Black Cat’s most defining creators return to... 

After arriving on the scene earlier this year in Free Comic Book Day: Avengers/X-Men, Brielle Brooks, the daughter of Blade, will headline her own series this February! Announced at New York Comic Con, BLOODLINE: DAUGHTER OF BLADE will reunite the character’s creators, writer Danny Lore and artist Karen S. Darboe, for a five-issue saga that serves as Brielle’s fascinating origin story and her thrilling journey to becoming Marvel’s next great antihero!  

The Fantastic Four are about to enter an all-new era! The upcoming run by writer Ryan North and artist Iban Coello will be ripe with mystery and overflowing with suspense as it finds the team separated after a devastating incident back in New York. The energy-absorbing mutant soldier has been a central figure in X-Men storytelling ever since, and this January, fans will travel back in time to his groundbreaking comics debut in X-MEN LEGENDS #5-6. The saga will be written and drawn by Portacio himself along with prolific comics writer Brian Haberlin. The story will finally reveal the genesis... 

Skybound today revealed a first look at Skybound Presents Afterschool #4, the final issue of the teen horror anthology miniseries that goes the extra mile to teach the cautionary tales your parents were too scared to talk about. Afterschool #4 will arrive in comic book shops November 9, 2022. In this issue, writer Leon Hendrix III (Two Sentence Horror Stories, Mayor of Kingstown) teams up with artist Eric Zawadzki (Heart Attack, House of El) to present a standalone horror story about an extracurricular you’d die to have on your high school transcript.
