American Sharks have announced a new string of East Coast tour dates, beginning August 8 with a sold out boat party in their native Austin, Texas.  

Cannibal Corpse have spent the summer of 2015 conquering Europe, including stops at Hellfest, Wacken, Bloodstock, Brutal Assault, Party.San, Copenhell, Graspop, and numerous club shows. But they aren’t even close to being finished with 2015, yet. Cannibal Corpse have unveiled their plans for a massive US tour this fall. They are bringing a brutal package of bands with them across the United States beginning October 8th, and running through November 7th. Direct support is slated to come from Metal Blade label mates Cattle Decapitation, preceded by Sweden’s Soreption, plus a local opener on each show. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 14th. What can I say about the legacy of Dragon Ball Z. With its latest film, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, series creator Akira Toriyama helps to supervise this latest installment with the return of the vile, and evil Freeza. Now, what differentiates the return of this antagonist into the DBZ world from any other rendition of Freeza’s schemes? Can when expect a lackadaisical approach to a rehashed franchise? On the contrary, it separates itself very nicely from a recycled use of characters. How have these heroes and villains evolved within a showdown of classic nostalgia? For starters, Gohan who from my perspective was always the “chosen one” of Goku’s offspring, is actually a former shell of his martial arts...

Multi-platinum rock bands Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin have unveiled details of their co-headlining U.S. tour.  Bandsintown exclusively reported the tour announcement earlier this morning- http://bit.ly/1MSESpe. The cross-country trek kicks off on October 16th at Wichita, KS’ Intrust Arena and continues until the tour finale on November 24th at Portland, ME’s Cross Insurance Arena.   

In support of their lauded, recently released fourth LP, Earth, Chicago mega trio, SWEET COBRA, is booking new live dates, including a new tour next week on an Eastern US run with Mutoid Man.
