  The Black Dahlia Murder blasted by NYC with the current Summer Slaughter Tour. The band is currenly hitting the stage with the likes of Dying Fetus, Darkest Hour, Powerglove, Oceano and more.  

Chaos Records is proud to announce the signing of Swedish death metal band MALFEITOR.  The band will release the vinyl LP version of their new full-length album, entitled Dum Morior Orior,during the first quarter of 2012. More details to come!   

Eclectic and atmospheric dark metal duo TRILLION RED has become the first act to sign with upstart label badGod Music. The band’s  DIY debut EP, Two Tongues, (released earlier this year) will see distribution through the label in September and plans are in place for a full-length to see the light of day in 2012.  

From AHI News… Jani Lane, the former lead singer of the 1980’s glam metal band Warrant, has been found dead in a hotel. He was 47.

Cape Fear doom kings, SOURVEIN, are excited to announce the return of original bassist, Joshua ”JC Fari” Crapo, who played with the band from 1993 – 2001 and again from 2003 – 2006. Fari held down the low-end duties on both SOURVEIN’s self-titled full-length and the He’s No Good To Me Dead compilation (featuring SOURVEIN alongside Grief, Bongzilla, Negative Reaction and Subsanity) among other compilations as well as the Will To Mangle demos. Fari also played guitar on the band’s split with Buzzov*en in 1995.
