Jeffrey Nothing, also known as Jeff Hatrix (born Jeffrey Lewis Hetrick), formerly the haunting voice and co-founder behind Cleveland’s pioneering alterna-metal and industrial collective MUSHROOMHEAD, has resurfaced with his solo project JEFFREY NOTHING (also known as NOTHING). Released today is a brand new single and video, “Dead Space / Dead Inside”. The track is available now for download and across all streaming platforms.

The lineup for the 2019 Decibel Magazine Tour once again breaks new ground, as legendary death metallers CANNIBAL CORPSE and Morbid Angel join forces for the first time ever in America to coheadline the winter tour. Rising Bay Area brutalizers Necrot and space-obsessed Denver death dealers Blood Incantation round out this once-in-a-lifetime bill. New York death metal icons Immolation will join the final week of the tour as main support to Morbid Angel, as CANNIBAL CORPSE exit the tour after the New York City date.

Ska-punk trio Sublime With Rome announces two back-to-back San Diego shows sponsored by KBZT and 91X at House Of Blues on December 29th and December 30th. Ticket proceeds for both shows will go towards Caterina’s Club and Music Hugs. Fans can purchase tickets for both benefit shows HERE for the 29th and HERE for the 30th.

OCTOBER TIDE’s Fredrik Norrman (ex-Katatonia), co-founder and guitarist of the Swedish, melodic death metal group, reports that the band has been writing songs for their sixth studio album, follow-up to “Winged Waltz” from 2016, and has booked a studio for the end of November, to start the recording process.

California rock and party legends Steel Panther are bringing their celebrated live show into 2019 with the Heavy Metal Mardi Gras tour. The new dates kick off March 1st in Jacksonville, FL and will currently run through March 8th with more dates to be announced in the near future.

Washington, DC-based DARKEST HOUR will embark on their special East Coast mini-tour next week, which will see the long-running metal quintet headlining with support from some of their hand-picked favorite hometown scene acts.  

Death in a band is a struggle to overcome.For the UK’s Architects, the loss of guitarist and founding member Tom Searle was a massive blow to the group. Still, this band pushes on. It’s the opening track “Death is Not Defeat” on their eighth studio album, Holy Hell, that really sends the message that this is the start of the next – albeit unexpected – chapter in the band’s history. There’s a veil of anguish that’s hanging over Holy Hell and Architects have pulled out all stops in releasing what might be the most crucial album of their career.

Quiet Riot’s performance at Frontiers Rock Festival 2018 marked the band’s first-ever concert in Italy and what a hell of a show it was! This special event is now being released on CD/DVD and Blu-Ray. Entitled “One Night in Milan,” this once in a lifetime performance will be released January 25, 2019 via Frontiers Music Srl.
