SPAWN #220 was a banner issue for the long-running title, as it celebrated its twentieth year of publication with creator Todd McFarlane’s name appearing once more in the writing and covers credits. And the series shows no signs of slowing as SPAWN #221 sold out at the distributor level the same week as it was released and the story takes a new turn and a new tone.
The first thing I will say about The Dark Knight Rises is “Don’t Believe the Hype”. This movie is not epic, ground breaking, one of the greatest movies of all time, as the critics would have you believe. This movie reminds me a bit of The God Father III, the immensely flawed finally in The Godfather Trilogy.

Comic heads were all abuzz this weekend with the new Marvel unleashed at this years San Diego Comic Con. The big surprise was the announcement of The Guardians Of The Galaxy coming in 2014. This is a somewhat of a surprise as Disney/Marvel will be taking somewhat of a a risk on a very limited known property in the Marvel Universe. The saving grace is the tie in value to super baddie THANOS. Other tent pole properties announced were Captain America: Winter Soldier, Iron Man 3 and Ant-Man.
