LA’s underground metal/hardcore band Twitching Tongues has announced a fall headlining tour with Harm’s Way in support of their upcoming record, Disharmony, which is due out October 30th on Metal Blade Records. Additional support will be provided by Homewrecker and Malice At The Palace.  

Failure return to the road in support of The Heart Is A Monster this October with a special friend in tow, former touring band member, Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age). Van Leeuwen was a touring member behind Fantastic Planet and played on four of the songs from The Heart Is A Monster.  

Renowned guitarist, producer and engineer Masaki Murashita has announced the upcoming release of Inescapable Damnation, the debut EP from his solo project MURASHITA.  

MOTOR SISTER who feature Mother Superior founder, guitarist, and vocalist Jim Wilson fronting the band, with Anthrax’s Scott Ian on guitar, Pearl Aday on backing vocals, Joey Vera on bass, and John Tempesta on drums, have announced they will hit the UK for the first time ever in January 2016 to play ten in-your-face shows.

American black metal legion, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, will release their first new full-length in three years via Candlelight Records this October. Titled The Accuser and now featuring the punishing lineup of founding vocalist/guitarist Ken Sorceron (ex-Lord Mantis), guitarist Jeff Wilson (Wolvhammer, Chrome Waves, Doomsday, La Chant Funebre), and drummer Charlie Fell (Cobalt, ex-Lord Mantis, ex-Avichi) with recording bassist Will Lindsay (Indian, Lord Mantis, Anatomy Of Habit), the diseased offering was recorded, mixed and mastered in just five days by Sorceron at the band’s home studio in Olympia, Washington, boasts a guest appearance by Neill Jameson (Krieg, Twilight) and includes the tripnotic cover renderings of...

The road warriors in GOATWHORE are packing their artillery for another run of live assaults later this week. The infiltration will commence this Saturday, August 15th in Richmond, Virginia as part of the annual Gwar B-Q gala. From there, the band will unite with support act – St. Louis metal troupe, Black Fast — and raze nine venues in seven states before bringing the proceedings to a ceremonial close with a special hometown performance alongside sludge brethren, Crowbar, at the House Of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 28th.  

Pacific Northwestern psychedelic doom bringers, YOB, will bring their sonic enormity to stages this Fall on a lengthy North American headlining trek. Slated to commence on October 22nd in Boise, Idaho and conclude on November 21st in Oakland, California, the trio will quake the stages of over two dozen venues including a special performance at this year’s edition of Philip H. Anselmo’s Housecore Horror Fest in San Antonio, Texas. Support will come from San Francisco volume dealers, Black Cobra. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 14th.
