Northern Virginia’s doom metal marauders, KING GIANT, have been confirmed to support the mighty Pentagram on a run of live dates in March, while also announcing that the vinyl version of their latest album, Black Ocean Waves, is being prepared for release.

Passing their three decade mark this month, NEUROSIS has confirmed that the band will be returning to Electrical Audio in Chicago with engineer Steve Albini on December 27th to record their forthcoming brand new LP, their follow up to 2012’s Honor Found In Decay. Additional details on the album and its approximate release in 2016 will be revealed in the early months of the year.  

New York City coven, TELOCH VOVIN, commemorates the Winter Solstice with the release of “Psalms Ov Khaos — Orobas Invocato“, the first in the Psalms Ov Khaos recordings set to see release from the band in the coming months.  

The unstoppable POWER TRIP has been confirmed as the opening act for a massive US Winter Tour, the crew set to slam the States supporting Lamb Of God, Anthrax, and Deafheaven in January and February.

Tennessee’s WHITECHAPEL are set to tear across the United States next week with Australia’s Psycroptic and newly-signed Metal Blade labelmates Culture Killer. The onstage annihilation begins November 2nd in Warren, Michigan clobbering nineteen cities and drawing to a close November 21st with a home state show in Nashville.  

Nature Ganganbaigal of Mongolian Folk Metallers TENGGER CAVALRY was awarded a Bronze Medal from the Global Music Awards for the album To Where Tengger Leads Me. The album is a collection of acoustic renditions of TENGGER CAVALRY songs and can be purchased from iTunes.
