Relapse Records is extremely excited to announce the signing of Cleveland, OH metal/hardcore veterans Ringworm! Formed in 1990, Ringworm (Human Furnace – Vocals, Matt Sorg – Guitar, John Comprix – Guitar, Ed Stephens – Bass, Danny Zink – Drums) has previously released six full-length records on labels Deathwish, A389 and Victory Records in addition to playing countless shows with the likes of Cro-Mags, Integrity, Kreator, Goatwhore, Nasum, and many others. The band will be entering the studio to record their Relapse debut this April. Vocalist Human Furnace commented on the signing:
To say that some of our most beloved super icons may be shown in a religious light is the understatement of the century. Larger than life sub humans scaling buildings and battling foes all for the greater good of mankind sounds a bit christ like. However, in a book published by Harry Brod entitled “Superman Is Jewish?” we dive into the details of how this individual firmly believes, and has the proof to back it, that some of our most beloved are in fact of the Jewish persuasion.
The growl of chain saws making firewood of fifty foot pines. That’s WILSON. The howling of a pack of wolves battling a rabid moose. That’s WILSON. The panting, gasping breaths of a smoke break “nooner”. That’s fucking WILSON. The citation for a noise violation… that’s just where the party begins. If all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, then all party and no bullshit have made WILSON juggernauts. For the past few years WILSON has transformed shows into parties, and concerts into riots throughout the Midwest. WILSON has not only held their own, but raised the bar for how much fun live music can be.

How does Doc Ock fit into this new world? Can he work with the few remaining heroes to make it out alive?
