Heavy metal legends Sevendust are releasing their 12th studio album, All I See Is War, on May 11th via Rise Records. The new album, the first for Rise Records, was recorded last Fall and was produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette, known for his work with Alter Bridge; Tremonti; Slash; and others. All I See Is War is the follow up to 2015’s Kill The Flaw, a record that brought the band their highest album sales chart position of their career. Track listing and pre-order information will be available in the near future.  

Underoath, who surprised fans last week with the announcement of a new album, Erase Me (April 6, Fearless Records), have also confirmed a Spring trek across the U.S., dubbed the Nø Fix Tour. Every ticket purchased for the upcoming tour will include a digital download of the new album.  

We aren’t even a quarter of the way through 2018 yet and three bands have already disbanded within a week of one another. While break-ups are certainly no uncommon event in the world of music, it is still unfortunate to see the following events transpire as they have. Some are tolerable, but there’s always one that manages to sting the most for various reasons. Tengger Cavalry are the most recent in announcing the cessation. In a post on Facebook, frontman Nature G. detailed why he was pulling the plug on the project: Within all these eight years, I have nothing but gratefulness to all your support. However, after consideration, I decide that Tengger Cavalry is officially dismissed. Yes, we are receiving good reviews,... 

This July/August, Armored Saint will embark on a North American tour, commemorating their classic Symbol Of Salvation album! On this special run, the band will perform Symbol Of Salvation in its entirety, with select shows to be recorded for a live DVD.  

NEUROSIS announces their return to Europe this June with a selection of festival appearances and club shows.  Supporting NEUROSIS on all club performances will be friends and labelmates DEAFKIDS. In Bologna Converge is also on the bill, and in Lausanne, Wolves In The Throne Room will join the show.  

EYEHATEGOD, currently finishing up their North American tour supporting Black Label Society and Corrosion Of Conformity, will take a short breather before taking to the streets again for a spring tour with Cro-Mags And Buzzov*en on select dates. EYEHATEGOD is also confirmed for several upcoming US and European festival dates including Desert Fest London, Maryland Deathfest, Hellfest, Heavy Montreal, and Psycho Las Vegas as well as a European trek to be announced in full shortly. Rival Sons, the blistering, soulful Long Beach, CA rock and roll band who’ve previously released 4 albums on the British UK label, Earache Records, has moved onward and upward, signing a deal with Low Country Sound / Atlantic Records.  The band, who many feel is the one most likely to lead rock and roll’s resurgence in 2018, has been hunkered down in the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville with Grammy award winning producer, Dave Cobb for a release later this year.

The tour kicks off in Lubbock, Texas, and makes its way through the Southern part of the US, including two iHeart Radio shows (98 Rockfest and Earthday Birthday) in Florida, and ends on the West Coast in Flagstaff, Arizona. Swedish melodic death metal act ETERNAL LIES re-emerge with a new album via Chaos Records.Chaos Records is proud to announce this deal with the swedish act ETERNAL LIES. The new album is entitled “Burning the nest” and consists in eight majestic tracks that remind of the sound of early and mid 90’s melodic death metal style, with some black metal influences.  

They dropped a few hints this past weekend and now it is official… Metallica’s WorldWired Tour returns to North America this Fall!  Following last summer’s 25 date sold-out stadium run, this year Metallica is bringing the in-the-round production currently being seen in European arenas to the U.S. and Canada kicking off on September 2, 2018, in Madison, WI.
