Yesterday, we gave you a first glance at Nic Klein’s amazing and gritty pencils for the sixth issue of the Man of Bronze’s ongoing series, which is being co-written by Ivan Brandon and FIRST WAVE writer Brian Azzarello. Today, we checked in with series Assistant Editor Chris Conroy about the new story arc, with more art, of course. But that’s not all.
Clayface infiltrates Gotham City Bank and Trust looking to make a sizable withdrawal. There’s just one problem: waiting in line at the bank is Stephanie Brown, a.k.a Batgirl. But when Clayface begins morphing into different people, Batgirl must hold the entire bank hostage until she can find out who the villain is impersonating.
We’ll be hearing from both Brian Azzarello and co-writer Ivan Brandon about what they’ve got in store for the Man of Bronze soon enough, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t tease some of the amazing artwork Nic Klein is cranking out. August 9, 2010 – Guitarists Luke Hoskin and Tim Millar from revered Canadian metal band, Protest The Hero, recently created a guitar tab book for their 2008 chart-topping album Fortress and have now completed another for their 2006 debut album, Kezia. The spiral bound book includes transcriptions for each of the ten songs on Kezia and an introduction – all written exclusively by the band members.
Producer Keith Olsen certainly has a knack for spotting talent – over the years he has overseen the creation of some truly mammoth rock records – namely Ozzy Osbourne’s ‘No Rest for the Wicked’, Whitesnake’s ‘Slide It In’, and the Scorpions’ ‘Crazy World’.
