It’s that time of year again, the time when GWAR comes to destroy your town and eviscerate your eardrums. However, this is no ordinary tour, this year they do it together with Hatebreed. The “Gore, Core, Metal and More” tour will be co-headlined by your Lords and Masters GWAR, and the mighty Hatebreed.
After 14 years performing together, five full-length studio albums, and countless sold-out shows around the globe, there aren’t many items left on a band’s bucket list. For Alter Bridge, one of the remaining list items was crossed off in October 2017 when the band performed two sold-out shows at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall backed by the 52-piece Parallax Orchestra led by conductor Simon Dobson.
Modern thrash metal trailblazers HAVOK are set to begin their North American Summer headlining tour this Friday, July 13th! The tour includes support from Jungle Rot and Extinction A.D., as well as four dates with Havok supporting Suicidal Tendencies. This continues an already impressive touring year for the group promoting their latest album Conformicide all over North America earlier this year with Killswitch Engage and Anthrax and performing in Mexico last month.
Louisiana based rockers AKADIA have announced summer show dates that will take them through several venues this summer in support of their new single “Turn Away.” Akadia will kick off the tour at the Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival in Mansfield Ohio July 13-15 with Akadia burning up the stage on July 14 at 1:30 pm. An official music video for the single has recently premiered and is gaining awareness.
Death metal legends INCANTATION announce headlining European tour dates throughout August and September. INCANTATION continue to tour in support of their recent full-length release Profane Nexus. The tour begins August 29 in Utrecht, NL and ends September 9 in Athens, GR. All confirmed tour dates are available below.
The term “supergroup” gets thrown around on a regular basis these days, however, GENERATION AXE undisputedly brings together some of the greatest guitarists of all time. Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt, and Tosin Abisi once again will join together to tour North America to stage 32 appearances across the country. Beginning on November 7 at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA, the run will return to markets where the inaugural tour was celebrated and hit several new cities for the first time. The general on-sale goes live July 13.
