Pennsylvania hardcore quartet, CDC, is currently embarked on latest load of international live excursions, touring Europe in advance of their next release, End. Having already pummeled Iceland, Germany, Poland and Latvia this week, CDC lights up the stage in Tallinn, Estonia this evening, with shows in Poland, Germany, Holland, the UK, France, Luxembourg and Belgium lined up between now and November 2nd.
Austin-based hardcore/death crossover outfit MAMMOTH GRINDER has confirmed a three-week tour late this fall, joining Santa Cruz progressive death metal outfit Inanimate Existence as support for Richmond’s bongblasters Cannabis Corpse. The tour will begin in the Southeast, with the first show in Wilmington, North Carolina on November 28th, and whip counter-clockwise through the country across the Gulf Coast, up through California then eastward through the Midwest and back down the East Coast, coming to a halt in Richmond on December 20th.
Today, the massive SOUTHWEST TERROR FEST III: THE WESTERN FRONT begins in Tucson, Arizona, taking over the town for four solid days of brutal musical acts from across the Western half of the country. With the main event shows this Friday, Saturday and Sunday night taking place at the historic Rialto Theatre, with tonight’s kickoff show and afterparty shows at the nearby The District Tavern, the third year of SOUTHWEST TERROR FEST is by far the most massive installment yet.

This time, Palms, Chino of the Deftones side project (of who can keep count at this point), was rolling through town, and I simply had to go! The under card was local band Murrieta, and mid-show Boyfrndz (terrible spelling theirs).
