Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) has announced the dates of its 2015 Winter Tour, once again featuring one of the group’s beloved stories performed in its own renowned audio visual manner. This year’s enchanted Yuletide tale is “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” which TSO will take to 60 cities across North America to perform 100 shows.

The road warriors in GOATWHORE are packing their artillery for another run of live assaults later this week. The infiltration will commence this Saturday, August 15th in Richmond, Virginia as part of the annual Gwar B-Q gala. From there, the band will unite with support act – St. Louis metal troupe, Black Fast — and raze nine venues in seven states before bringing the proceedings to a ceremonial close with a special hometown performance alongside sludge brethren, Crowbar, at the House Of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 28th.
In the final stages of recording the follow-up to 2011’s Worship Music, Anthrax – Joey Belladonna/vocals, Frank Bello/bass, Charlie Benante/drums, guitarist Jon Donais, and Scott Ian/rhythm guitar – will hit the road beginning August 28 for a 42-city global trek that will see the band playing three major festivals as well as sharing stages with the likes of Motorhead and their fellow Big Four comrades, Slayer.
Cannibal Corpse have spent the summer of 2015 conquering Europe, including stops at Hellfest, Wacken, Bloodstock, Brutal Assault, Party.San, Copenhell, Graspop, and numerous club shows. But they aren’t even close to being finished with 2015, yet. Cannibal Corpse have unveiled their plans for a massive US tour this fall.
Pacific Northwestern psychedelic doom bringers, YOB, will bring their sonic enormity to stages this Fall on a lengthy North American headlining trek. Slated to commence on October 22nd in Boise, Idaho and conclude on November 21st in Oakland, California, the trio will quake the stages of over two dozen venues including a special performance at this year’s edition of Philip H. Anselmo’s Housecore Horror Fest in San Antonio, Texas. Support will come from San Francisco volume dealers, Black Cobra. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 14th.
