Amanda Harvey Comic Book News, Reviews, TV Comments Off on Falcon and Winter Soldier “The World is Watching” Review

Well, there it is. There’s the episode we’ve been waiting for. If we had any doubts about who John Walker was before, that’s all cleared up now. If you haven’t watched the show yet, I would stop reading now because there will be spoilers this point forward. I had mentioned in one of my reviews that we hadn’t seen the zealot of John Walker yet and boy was I in for a rude awakening. We knew it had to be coming, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so… violent. Speaking of violence, this show has had way more violence in it than I’ve expected out of a Marvel/Disney franchise. I’m not complaining. I think it goes hand in hand with the content and theme they’re trying...

Amanda Harvey News, TV Comments Off on The Witcher Reportedly Casts Eredin of The Wild Hunt

A report from Redanian Intellegiance suggests the presence of The Wild Hunt on The Witcher 2 set which finished wrapping up recently after a lot of hiccups because of COVID. This show has had its fans DYING for a season 2 in the worst way after its smashing success with season one. It has been reported that the leader of the Red Riders, Eredin, will be played by Sam Hazeldine. For those who are fans of the games and books, we know that the Red Riders become a significant foe for Geralt, but we don’t know how much impact that will have on the show’s storyline. The cast seems to be ever-growing, adding names including Niamh McCormack, who will play the elven ancestor of Ciri, as well as Ania Marson (Voleth...

Amanda Harvey Comic Book News, Reviews, TV Comments Off on The Falcon and Winter Soldier “The Star-Spangled Man”

Spoiler alert: The following post contains plot points from the newest episode of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” This is the buddy cop show we’ve been waiting for. Except they’re not really cops. Also, we’re tackling some serious themes here involving classism, racism, and mental health. It might not be the buddy cop show we were expecting, but it’s the buddy cop show we need. I’m loving every second of this show so far. In episode one, the first ten minutes were action-packed. Episode two was not lacking in a blowout truck jumping action scene that had Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes jumping from the top of one box truck to the next while Anthony Mackie playing Falcon is weaving...
