With the re-unveiling of EXHUMED‘s now-iconic full-length, Gore Metal: A Necrospective: 1998 – 2015, now just one month away, today the gatekeepers are delighted to decimate ear holes with a renovated version of longtime live favorite, “Limb From Limb.”  

Akron, Ohio’s MAID MYRIAD continues to book new live performances supporting their engaging debut LP, With Haste On Its Breath, with a new string of Northeastern US tour dates this Winter. Between the 6th and 22nd of February, the trio will bounce through Ohio, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Maryland and West Virginia with six new gigs confirmed at press time, and additional tour dates being scheduled for the weeks following the newly announced run, including tour dates based around the band’s upcoming SXSW performances to be announced shortly and more.  

BROTHERS OF THE SONIC CLOTH is the sound of earthly decomposition and planetary demise; a slow, entrancing dance towards a looming apocalypse… thick, monolithic, deliberate and devouring. Fronted by Seattle’s legendary guitarist/vocalist Tad Doyle — formerly of TAD and Hog Molly — BROTHERS OF THE SONIC CLOTH is a trio of longtime rock soldiers that includes veteran bassist Peggy Doyle and drummer Dave French (The Anunnaki) and their forthcoming full-length debut maintains a long-held tradition of conjuring some of the heaviest music from the darkest depths of the Pacific Northwest.  

One of the coolest collaborations is about to drop this February, the split between Le Betre of Sweden and King Buffalo of New York will drop exclusively from DIY vinyl label giant, STB Records! If you love that retro style blues and rock, with an aftertaste of spacey, laidback doom, you have found Nirvana!  

In my search for that gritty, dirty heavy stuff that I crave oh so much, I find some cool shit. A band that was brought to my attention on IG (@anthonyvongrimm for the tip), and it did not disappoint! THe band in question is called Yanomamo, which is hard to say in a rush, hard to type correctly the first time, every time, and fun to say. THis band has all the necessary ingredients I seek, and a review is forthwith! After yon jump!

Multi-media artist NADER SADEK has released a teaser video of in-studio performances for the song “Entropy Eternal” from new EP The Malefic: Chapter III. The video features performance clips of Travis Ryan (CATTLE DECAPITATION), Martin Rygiel (ex-DECAPITATED), Flo Mounier (CRYPTOPSY), Andreas Kisser (SEPULTURA), and Rune Eriksen (AURA NOIR, ex-MAYHEM).  

Launched on November 24 and successfully finalized within days, the crowdfunding campaign for THE LUMBERJACK FEEDBACK and WE ALL DIE (laughing)‘s Ausstellung limited-edition split EP was a fantastic success!
