Salt Lake City, UT Thrash Metallers DEATHBLOW will release new EP The Other Side of Darkness on April 21. The sophomore release continues the scorched earth campaign launched with 2014 debut full-length Prognosis Negative, upping the intensity level, sharpening the songwriting, and leaving any fan of true blue Thrash Metal in a state of pure bliss.  

Hot Lunch, the San Francisco-based band whose music Thrasher described as “a blast of ‘60s acid rock seemingly unearthed after decades of rock ’n’ roll mediocrity,” releases the Slappy Sunday EP on March 31 via Scion Audio Visual.

The band will be touring in support of their Casuistry full-length, set to drop via Metal Blade Records next month.

The band collaborated with director Mitch Massie, the director behind the latest and most visually striking videos from Cattle Decapitation, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and more. Mitch Massie brought the lyrics to “Let Me Burn” to life in gloriously gory fashion; this video is not for those with a weak constitution.  

New York experimental death metal strategists, PYRRHON, have announced their first ever European tour. Featuring support from French grinders Department Of Correction, the trek will commence on April 10th in Paris, France and runs through April 25th in Plymouth, United Kingdom.
