Forged from the soul of the Austin, Texas metal scene, DEAD EARTH POLITICS is a blade that cuts like no other. Having been compared to the likes of Lamb of God, Iron Maiden, Pantera, and other legends, this band strikes at many cores. In 2006 the band released their debut EP, Mark the Resistance. The album quickly gained notoriety and in 2010 they followed up with the LP The Weight of Poseidon which received acclaim from reviewers and the praise of fans. The Austin Chronicle honored DEAD EARTH POLITICS with their “Best Metal Band of the Year” award in 2013 and 2014. With passion coursing through their veins and dedication in their hearts, DEAD EARTH POLITICS strives for perfection in their craft. On March 14, 2015, DEAD EARTH POLITICS released Men Become Gods, the second EP in a trilogy that began with last year’s widely-praised The Queen of Steel. Featuring four tracks of razor-edged and relentless metal fury, Men Become Gods sees DEAD EARTH POLITICS continue their ascent toward greatness.
