Starting in October, an all-star lineup of writers and artists will take Spidey beyond the limit in an era without Peter Parker as his fan-favorite clone, Ben Reilly, takes over the mantle. Written by Kelly Thompson, Cody Ziglar (with the rest of the Beyond Board of Saladin Ahmed, Patrick Gleason and Zeb Wells) with art by Sara Pichelli and Michael Dowling, these adventures of Spider-Man will be like none that came before, offering a fresh take on the Spider-Man mythos and an exciting development for Ben Reilly’s super hero legacy.
Seattle-based multi-platinum rock band Candlebox returns with its seventh album, Wolves. This album is the follow-up to the 2016 album Disappearing In Airports, which had a fresh modernity, a vibe that is amplified and broadened on Wolves. Lead singer Kevin Martin says, “It comes from where we are as humans right now, and what we’ve become. Mainstream rock outfit POP EVIL have been forced to postpone upcoming dates on their current headlining tour across the U.S. due to vocalist Leigh Kakaty testing positive for COVID-19 over the weekend, forcing them to cancel their show on Sunday night in Denver. The band will reinstate their tour on Friday, August 27 in Virginia Beach at Elevation 27 and are currently working on rescheduling all cancelled dates following their last stop in Orlando. The band have also announced their stop on September 1 in Syracuse, NY at Westcott Theater has been cancelled by the venue and promoter.
