From the ashes of Death of Wolverine comes a new beginning. Today, Marvel is pleased to present your first look at DEATH OF WOLVERINE: THE LOGAN LEGACY #1, the first issue in a blockbuster 7-issue limited series aiming to explore the gaping hole left in the Marvel Universe following the death of one of its most prominent super heroes. Written by superstar writer Charles Soule with art by Oliver Nome, this epic first issue, setting the stage for a world without Wolverine! Each issue of Death of Wolverine: The Logan Legacy features a hot new creative team made up of some of the industry’s brightest rising stars as they explore the unique solo adventures of X-23, Sabretooth, Daken, Lady Deathstrike and Mystique!  

Hot off the heels of the monster debut of Space Invader, Ace Frehley has announced his touring lineup for the first leg of tour dates, his first U.S. shows in four years, which will be announced next week. Frehley adds comment:

Critically-acclaimed sludge/doom veterans Sourvein have signed with Metal Blade Records! The new partnership’s first effort will be the release of the band’s fourth full-length album, “Aquatic Occult” in 2015. The album is scheduled to be recorded with Corrosion of Conformity’s Mike Dean in early 2015 and will finally see its release later that year. Sourvein main man Troy “T-Roy” Medlin was interviewed by friend and fellow musician, Randy Blythe of Lamb of God fame, who penned the band’s new biography. The text will serve as an excellent introduction for the uninitiated. It’s a recap of the past twenty years of the band, and a look towards a bright future for Sourvein.  

He Is Legend has announced that they will be on tour this winter with legendary punk/funk/rock band Snot. The US tour begins on 11/28 in Palm Desert, CA and wraps up in Pomona, CA on 12/23. SNOT will be reuniting to perform their album Get Some in its entirety. Thira and Lydia Can’t Breathe will provide additional support.
