The first-ever, career-spanning documentary on the life and times of legendary metal icon Ronnie James Dio comes to cinemas worldwide for two days only on Wed., Sept. 28 and Sun., Oct. 2. Executive produced by Dio’s widow and longtime manager, Wendy Dio, and fully authorized by the artist’s estate, “DIO: Dreamers Never Die” delves deep into the singer’s incredible rise from a ‘50s doo-wop crooner to his early rock days in Elf and Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, to replacing Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath, and finally cementing his rock star status with his own band, DIO.  

Announced this morning by Entertainment Weekly, writer Ryan North and artist Iban Coello’s brand-new run of FANTASTIC FOUR begins this November! To celebrate the start of a new era for Marvel’s first family, legendary comics writer and artist Frank Miller has crafted an eye-catching cover for the series’ first issue starring the ‘Ever-Lovin’ Blue-Eyed’ Thing! The variant cover marks Miller’s first Marvel Comics work in nearly 30 years, and fans can look forward to more variant covers from the visionary creator in the near future.  

The critically acclaimed documentary This is GWAR was released earlier this summer via Shudder, AMC Network’s premium streaming service for horror, thriller, and the supernatural. On October 25th, This is GWAR will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD. It is available for pre-order HERE. The Toy Foundation announced its finalists for their Toy of the Year awards. Finalists are selected by a panel of judges who factored in the design, quality, originality, creativity, and play value of each nominated product. Multi-platinum powerhouses, Five Finger Death Punch and Brantley Gilbert, have announced today that they will be joining forces this fall for a massive US arena tour with support from newcomer Corey Marks. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will kick off in Grand Rapids on November 9th and lay waste to 20 more cities before wrapping up in Las Vegas on December 17th (full routing below).

In 2006, writer Greg Pak along with artists Carlo Pagulayan and Aaron Lopresti crafted PLANET HULK, one of the most iconic stories to ever grace the pages of Incredible Hulk, and this November, Pak will return to this storyline in PLANET HULK: WORLDBREAKER! This five-issue limited series will take place a thousand years into the future and present a shocking expansion and culmination of the mythos of Sakaar. Pak will be joined by visionary Devil’s Reign artist Manuel Garcia.  

This November, Marvel Comics will publish a special one-shot starring one of the most iconic comic villains of all time—THANOS!
