Southern California-based progressive rock outfit AEGES are preparing to return to the road in the U.S. supporting their latest full-length effort, Weightless (2016). The band will be joining hard rock titans Chevelle as direct support on a May tour, as well as playing a handful of festivals including Rock On The Range, Rocklahoma, and 98 Rockfest. Before embarking on their upcoming U.S. tour, the band will also play a pair of shows with Hell Or Highwater on the West Coast.

Dynamite Entertainment is proud to announce that Magnus, the comic book series with futuristic action and cybernetic intrigue, returns with an all-new interpretation of the character courtesy of writer Kyle Higgins (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and artist Jorge Fornés (Amazing X-Men). With a debut issue set for release in June, Magnus #1 includes a bonus Turok back-up story by Chuck Wendig (Hyperion) and Álvaro Sarraseca (Witchblade), a continuation of the serial in the Magnus sister title, The Sovereigns.
As previously announced, Ensiferum recently entered the Astia studio in Lappeenranta, Finland to begin work on their seventh full-length, which will be produced once again by Anssi Kippo (Children Of Bodom, Impaled Nazarene, Entwine etc.). Set to be released September 2017 via Metal Blade Records, the quintet has now issued an update about the recording process from in the studio.
The Melvins return with a double album, A Walk With Love and Death, on July 7 via Ipecac Recordings.The dual albums find the trio of Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and Steve McDonald showcasing two distinct sides to the band’s music: Death, a proper Melvins’ release and Love, the score to the Jesse Nieminen directed, self-produced short also titled A Walk With Love and Death.
