EVANESCENCE, have released the new video “Imperfection,” out today. Shot on location in Los Angeles last month with director P.R. Brown, the song is the first single off the group’s fourth and most ambitious album to date, SYNTHESIS, set for release November 10. The album is a reimagining of some of EVANESCENCE’s best-loved songs-as well as a couple of new ones–recorded with a full orchestra and electronics combined with the band and AMY LEE’s virtuoso piano and voice.  

Norwegian black metal legends MAYHEM will take part in the latest edition of the Decibel Metal And Beer Fest set to take place on March 31st-April 1st, 2018 at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Polish black metal legion BATUSHKA are the latest additions to the Metal Blade Records’ US roster.Pronounced “Batjushka,” the band’s Cyrillic name Батюшка means “father” and is used to address an Eastern Orthodox priest. Despite their themes and imagery, they are not a Christian band. The identities of the members are unknown, but they are involved with other bands. Their live lineup contains eight members.  

The fourth and concluding issue of Steve Niles & Bernie Wrightson’s Frankenstein, Alive, Alive will be released in January of 2018. Exploring the further adventures of Mary Shelley’s monster, this gothic horror story will be the final chapter of legendary artist Bernie Wrightson’s Frankenstein works.  

Finnish Epic Metal band IRON GRIFFIN, the side-project of MAUSOLEUM GATE drummer Oskari Razanez, will release its self-titled debut EP on 12″ mini-LP and cassette through Gates of Hell Records (a Cruz Del Sur Music imprint).
