The Queens, New York-based SWORN ENEMY – whose intense fusion of metal, thrash and New York hardcore has provided the soundtrack for numerous moshpits over the past two decades – have signed with M-Theory Audio. The label will release the group’s sixth album, produced by Robb Flynn of Machine Head, in 2019.  

Award winning Filmmaker / Author John Borowski’s (H.H. Holmes: America’s First Serial Killer) fifith feature documentary film, Bloodlines: The Art and Life of Vincent Castiglia, will be released in North America on November 13th.  

Memphis rockers Savage After Midnight have announced their 2019 winter tour with Pop Evil. The band will be joining the tour midway through the run starting on January 25th in Atlanta, GA until February 2nd in Sayreville, NJ.

Pop Evil has announced a brand new batch of 24 U.S. headline dates for next year in the never-ending support of their self-titled LP, which was released earlier this year. Veteran comedian and former VH1 That Metal Show host Don Jamieson will serve as direct support. THEM EVILS and SAVAGE AFTER MIDNIGHT will open the tour on select dates.  

It literally doesn’t stop. Death metal as far as the eye can see in 2018, and it just doesn’t get any better. I’ve rambled enough this year, but you get the idea that this is a great year for the definitive, extreme metal genre. To the point, here’s a few more of this year’s releases coming your way.  

UNEARTH will release their new album “Extinction(s)”on November 23rd via Century Media Records. In support of the album, UNEARTH will hit the road this November with Fit For An Autopsy.  The first leg of the tour has The Agony Scene and Traitors rounding out the package. These shows run from November 2nd through November 18th.
