Captain Carter, the fan-favorite character recently featured in Marvel Studios’ What If reports for duty in her very own comic series next month! Prolific creator Jamie McKelvie, known for his defining work on characters like Captain Marvel and the Young Avengers, now uses his acclaimed talents to bring this Marvel super hero to the forefront of Marvel Comics canon, writing the series and designing the character’s brand-new look. McKelvie will be joined by rising star artist Marika Cresta, known for her recent work on STAR WARS: DOCTOR APHRA.

OPETH will return to the stage this Spring on the second leg of their North American co-headlining tour with Mastodon. When the gates of the world slammed shut in 2020, German metal spearheads CALIBAN focused their energies in the studio. The results were nothing short of prolific: at first, Zeitgeister, a collection of classic CALIBAN songs re-done in their native German, but more importantly, a brand-new album, Dystopia. Author & Punisher treat fans to a third and final preview of the San Diego-based outfit’s forthcoming album (Krüller, out Feb. 11 via Relapse Records) with the release of “Blacksmith”  

DEATH DEALER has announced the upcoming release of a new EP titled FUEL INJECTED SUICIDE MACHINE (the second Steel Cartel Records product to implement the variant cover art vinyl product). The band features Ross The Boss  (Ex-MANOWAR, ROSS THE BOSS BAND, DICTATORS), Sean Peck (CAGE, THE THREE TREMORS, DENNER/SHERMANN, WARRIOR), Mike Lepond (SYMPHONY-X, STEEL ASSASSINS), Stu Marshall (DUNGEON, NIGHT LEGION, ARKENSTONE), and Steve Bolognese (ROSS THE BOSS, INTO ETERNITY) and is coming off of their successful 3rd full-length release of the award-winning album CONQUERED LANDS.  

In 1991’s FANTASTIC FOUR #347, comic book legends Walter Simonson and Arthur Adams introduced an unforgettable iteration of Marvel’s premier Super Hero team when they teamed up WOLVERINE, SPIDER-MAN, GHOST RIDER, and HULK as the NEW FANTASTIC FOUR. Though their time as the FF was brief, this unlikely group of heroes left a big impact, and now fans will get to return to this special moment in Marvel history in a new limited series kicking off in May.
