Metal Blade Records is proud to welcome Vio-Lence to its worldwide roster! Vio-Lence was born in 1985 in the womb of thrash metal’s inception: San Francisco’s East Bay Area. With a ferocious blend of blazing guitar riffs, relentless rhythm, and an ultra-aggressive vocal style, they have an intensity unmatched in metal. After disbanding in late 1993, their music and legacy still drew metal-heads from around the world. Their return to live performances began in mid-April 2019 and they haven’t looked back.
Psych rock legends MONSTER MAGNET will return to the road in North America this spring to celebrate their historic release, Powertrip. Their live set will feature select cuts from this seminal album as well as MONSTER MAGNET fan favorites. Support on the tour will come from Nebula and Silvertomb. Berklee College of Music and Dream Theater announce the creation of the Dream Theater Scholarship Fund. In celebration of the band’s 35th anniversary, Dream Theater and Berklee are creating a fund that will provide scholarship money to student musicians in need on an ongoing basis through the future.
