PUSCIFER COMPLETE SOUNDTRACK FOR BLOOD INTO WINE: SOUND INTO BLOOD INTO WINE   LOS ANGELES, July 27 –Sound Into Blood Into Wine, a twelve-song collection of Puscifer (Maynard James Keenan) tracks which accompany the critically-acclaimed documentary Blood Into Wine, has been completed and will be available Sept. 7.    Fans that experienced the live incarnation of Puscifer earlier this year will be familiar with some of the countrified versions of songs that appeared in their original incarnations on Puscifer’s debut album (V is for V****a) and C is For… EP.  This is the first time these alternate versions have been made available.   1.       Sour grapes Where’s The Line? The 2010 Eisner Award winners were announced last night, to honor some of the best and brightest talents in comics, and DC came away with a number of honors. “ZOMBIE, The EP Comic,” a limited-edition, traditional-sized comic book based on the fictionalized adventures of rising metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada, bundled with the band’s upcoming “Zombie EP” (Ferret), will be available at retail exclusively at all Hot Topic stores for $9.99 beginning August 24.   

Anyone that’s familiar with Korn’s catalogue knows that they’ve been on a bit of a tangent with their style since “Issues.” Three of their last four releases have been widely experimental and their foray back into their old school style on “Take A Look In The Mirror” was good but not up to standard. That is far from the case with “III: Remember Who You Are.” This is easily their best in a long time, and even with only 3 remaining original members (the reason behind the III in the title perhaps?) they bring the fierceness that defined their early work.  

REUNITED ANIMOSITY ERA LINE-UP PLAYS FIRST SHOWS IN OVER TWO DECADES     Raleigh, N.C., July 26 — Corrosion of Conformity have added three new dates to their previously announced tour dates: Oct. 7 at Starland Ballroom (Sayreville, N.J.), Oct. 8 at Chicago’s Riot Fest and Oct. 10 at Highline Ballroom in New York City.   With the twenty-fifth anniversary of the classic Animosity album approaching, the original incarnation of Corrosion of Conformity (Woody Weatherman, Mike Dean and Reed Mullin) will play their first live shows in over twenty years with the tour kick-off this week in Asheville, N.C.  

After a 6 year hiatus and 4 side project albums (2 Velvet Revolver, 1 Army of Anyone, 1 Scott Weiland solo) the Stone Temple Pilots reunited, toured extensively, and then released their long awaited 6th studio album… and it delivers.
