British thrashers EVILE have thanked the many bands and artists who have donated items for the raffle to support the family of the band’s late bassist, MIKE ALEXANDER, who tragically passed away on October 5th while the band was on tour in Sweden.  

Here is the latest update from Wendy Dio: “Ronnie has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer. We are starting treatment immediately at the Mayo Clinic. After he kills this dragon, Ronnie will be back on stage, where he belongs, doing what he loves best, performing for his fans.

Bay Area thrash legends TESTAMENT are taking the stage once again in support of their 2008 release, The Formation of Damnation. TESTAMENT will be touring as special guest with fellow thrash legends MEGADETH and SLAYER. The tour will feature the classic lineup of vocalist Chuck Billy, guitarists Eric Peterson and Alex Skolnick, bassist Greg Christian, and drummer Paul Bostaph and will mark the 20th anniversary of these major players taking the stage together on the same stage as MEGADETH and SLAYER.  

Detroit, MI death metallers, AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH are getting ready to record their EARACHE debut in December by tightening up their sound on tour. Their current trek has been a long and winding one, however after 2 top billing bands suddenly left the tour within days of each other.  

Alice in Chains have just released a trailer for their upcoming video, “Your Decision.” The clip features William DuVall, Mike Inez, Jerry Cantrell, and Sean Kinney dressed in suit and tie. The band teamed up once again with Director Stephen Schuster, who also did the video for the song “A Looking In View.” The video premieres on iTunes December 1st.  

It was announced today that William Morris Endeavor Entertainment has inked an international representation agreement with ex-KoRn guitarist BRIAN “HEAD” WELCH. The initial term of the agreement is for three years. Ember Rigsby Tanksley of WMEE will be principally responsible for spearheading representation duties from WMEE’s Nashville, TN office. The addition of HEAD to its existing powerhouse music division continues to fulfill WMEE’s post-merger goal (with Endeavor) of adding marquee names to its roster.
