Marky has also been playing the song on his radio show Marky Ramone’s Punk Rock Blitzkrieg. 2010 marks his 5th year as on Sirius/XM Radio.
Marilyn Manson’s insurance coverage will pay $175,000 to settle a lawsuit brought against him by a former member of his band, but all of the money will go to the plaintiff’s attorney, a lawyer for the goth rocker said today. Stephen Bier, better known by the stage names Pogo and Madonna Wayne Gacy, brought his breach-of contract case in Los Angeles Superior Court in August 2007 against Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner.
On January 13th, 2010, Ibex Moon Record’s INCANTATION and DIVINE EVE will hit the road in Europe as part of the Vengeful Scapegoat tour with HATE, NOCTUM and NERVE. The tour will provide INCANTATION an opportunity to promote their new, limited edition 7″ picture EP, Scapegoat. In the January 2010 issue of Decibel (Mastodon cover), Funebrarum’s Matt Medeiros picked his Top 5 old school death metal releases of 2009. Two of the five spots went to Ibex Moon releases: Asphyx’s Death…The Brutal Way at #1 and Goreaphobia’s Mortal Repulsion at #5. In the same issue Death…The Brutal Way made Decibel’s Top 40 Albums of 2009 list, landing at #20. Finally, in the CD review section, Avulsed’s Nullo (The Pleasure of Self Mutilation) received a score of 8/10.
