Home to some of the purest and most brutal death metal the underground has to offer, Dark Descent Records has released a limited edition 7″ split featuring Texas-based doom-laden death metallers Decrepitaph and the long-awaited return of The Netherlands’ Eternal Solstice.  

  Swedish Hell-rockers TURBOCHARGED have completed the mastering process for the CD version of their debut album AntiXtian. The CD was produced in the band’s home studio and mastered at Leon Music Studios by Rikard “Captain Cannibal” Löfgren (VOMITORY, DEATHSTARS, ENFORCER). The album cover (see below) and layout for the disc was created by the band’s bassist/vocalist, Ronnie Ripper.  

Ukrainian doom/death act APOSTATE is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its ranks. Promising young guitarist Andrij Hudyma and second vocalist Vadym Ozhygin (also of Ukrainian thrashers DISARM) give the band a new level of energy and will contribute to a denser, richer sound both live and in the studio.    

The Tornado boys are all set to travel to the cold north of Sweden where they will enter Abyss Studio with world famous metal producer Peter Tagtgren in control of Production duties.  Tornado will record 12 songs during a 2 week period.

      May 3 is going to be a special day for dredg, with the launch of the first round of headlining tour dates (along with The Dear Hunter, Balance and Composure, and Trophy Fire) and the release of their Dan The Automator-produced CHUCKLES AND MR. SQUEEZY on Superball Music.  

US death metal pioneers Incantation have recently been added to the already stacked line up for this year’s Neurotic Deathfest, which runs April 29th & 30th in Tilburg, Netherlands. Drummer Kyle Severn gave the following statement,  

Due to a multitude of classic tunes (“The Boys Are Back in Town,” “Jailbreak,” “Waiting for an Alibi,” etc.) and albums (‘Jailbreak,’ ‘Live and Dangerous,’ ‘Black Rose,’ etc.), Thin Lizzy is undoubtedly one of rock’s all-time great bands.  

United Stations nationally syndicated radio show HardDrive has announced its third national concert tour, HardDrive Live Spring Fling featuring Saliva, Rev Theory, Emphatic, Madam Adam and Seven Day Sonnet.   The tour will begin in Broussard, LA on April 13th, and is scheduled to hit over twenty markets across North America.  Dates go on sale beginning March 3, 2011.  

  Globally celebrated progressive rock / cutting-edge metal innovators BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME (aka BTBAM) will release its new album The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues on April 12, 2011 via Metal Blade Records.  

Two two-minute excerpts from the new BLUT AUS NORD songs “Epitome II” and “Epitome IV” are available for streaming on the label’s website. The tracks come off the band’s first part of the “777” trilogy, “777 – Sect(s)” which is scheduled for release on April 18th (April 19th in North America) via Debemur Morti Productions.  

All That Remains will head out on tour with Black Label Society for the FUSE Uranium Tour kicking off on May 4 in San Diego, CA (Tour Dates Below). The tour is sponsored by Fuse (the premiere video channel), House Of Blues and Right Arm Entertainment and marks the return of Fuse’s “Uranium” brand. ATR will also perform a handful of headline dates in April as well as a few festivals.
