Metal Blade Records heavyweights THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, and SIX FEET UNDER are all confirmed to head out on the 5th annual Summer Slaughter Tour, presented by ESP Guitars and Indie Merch Store, which runs from July 21st through August 21st.

It is with great pride that we are honored to announce that A.J. Pero has become our National Spokesperson. Mr. Pero has spent his life entertaining rock music fans as the drummer for Twisted Sister. Recorded, mixed & mastered at Earthsound Studio, the first part of the “777” trilogy, “777 – Sect(s)” is scheduled for release on April 18th (April 19th in North America) via Debemur Morti Productions.

Metropolis recording artists FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY (FLA) are gearing up for a national tour, their first since 2007, to promote their critically-hailed new album IMPROVISED.  

Two songs from the album – “Down Spiral Depersonification” and “Der Blick hinaus” – are available for streaming at the label’s website and Facebook page.  

I guess a little background info might be necessary for those outside of the Chicago area. A week prior to the show there was a shooting at the venue, as a result the city forced Mojoes to close up shop for a week forcing them to cancel some shows and relocate others, Metalliance being one of the shows they moved, to a place called the Bada Brew. I don’t know where Mojoes is, but the Bada Brew was parked between a crappy little convenience store and the some cafe called The Broken Egg in a tiny little strip mall. Not your typical scene for a show so I didn’t know what to expect, but who cares right?      I happened to miss the first two or three bands that opened, but I did catch the last two songs of... 

Cannibal Corpse guitarist Pat O’Brien will fill in for Exodus’ Gary Holt when Holt leaves the Slayer European tour to play with his own band Exodus at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile on April 4.
