A few months later, Michelle Nocon joined the ranks on vocals and soon thereafter, the first EP Trident Nor Fire was recorded and released. The first European live appearances started in 2007, soon followed by concerts all over the continent.  

Jackyl has announced summer touring plans that cumulatively stage performances for the band in front of hundreds of thousands of fans. Dates have been locked across the Midwest, South and Northeast. Formed in 1990, the quartet has enjoyed a career stretching two decades, bringing a hybrid of Southern metal to millions.  

Following up on the success of last year’s reissue of the classic Winter Of Sin, Abyss Records is proud to unearth yet another treasure from Norwegian black/death metal warlocks FESTER. Abyss has reincarnated FESTER’s 1994 masterpiece Silence on digi-CD. The reissue comes completely remastered and repackaged and features all nine original tracks and a live version of the song    

ISIS, who disbanded in May of last year, is set to release a series of five live albums that span the Los Angeles-by-way-of-Boston band’s thirteen year career.

Finnish black crusaders ARCHGOAT will record five new hyms of Angelslaying Black Fucking Metal this coming July. The mini-album should be released in October of this year. More information to follow in the coming weeks.  

Abyss Records’ resident maniacs MAAX have been added to the already stacked lineup at this year’s Central Illinois Metalfest. Dubbed “The Sickest Fest In The Midwest”, CIM 2011 features some of the biggest and best names in extreme metal over three days (July 22nd – 24th). MAAX will be assaulting fest-goers with their bastardized black n’ roll on Saturday, July 23rd.
