Legendary Florida death metal behemoths OBITUARY will embark on a short East Coast run of dates this November alongside Denial Fiend! The trek will commence on November 12 in Tampa, Florida and runs through to November 20 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The band will be joined by bassist Terry Butler (Death, Six Feet Under, Massacre),  

Dark Descent Records will release the highly anticipated CD follow-up to the twice-pressed Sweet Blasphemies cassette from the East Coast’s favorite sons of filth HORRENDOUS. Entitled The Chills, the new EP is targeted for a late November/early December release and defines the kind of mucked up, motoring, and morbid Swedish/American death metal that HORRENDOUS has been delivering with malice since 2009. New Jersey devils Abacinate have made their triumphant return after a year-long hiatus following the tragic loss of vocalist Jason “Plunger” Sica. Rejoined by original vocalist Ian Neal, who appeared on the band’s full-length debut, Ruination, Abacinate is picking up right where they left off over a year ago.  

Irish black metallers Eternal Helcaraxe have revealed the cover artwork and tracklisting for their Abyss Records debut, Against All Odds.  The album, which is due out later this year, is the follow up to the band’s 2010 EP To Whatever End.
