Five Finger Death Punch has been lighting up city after city while headlining this years Trespass America Festival. Metalmachine.net sat down with FFDP Drummer Jeremy Spencer to talk all things FFDP, the road and whats in store for the future of the band.

Doc Coyle from the band God Forbid recently sat down with Metalmachine.net from the road on the current Trespass America Festival. Doc talked about the tour, upcoming shows and weddings…no really!  

They are one of the bands that helped define the “metal/thrash” genre (with Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth – The Big Four).  Their music has been played at New York’s Yankee Stadium, in Moscow, Warsaw, Australia, Japan, and at Castle Donington in the UK.  But now, thanks to NASA, Anthrax is the first metal band to ever have its music played on Mars.  

UK extreme metal act, Cradle of Filth, has announced an October 30th North American release date for the band’s 10th studio album, The Manticore & Other Horrors, out just in time for Halloween courtesy of Nuclear Blast Records.  

The G.O.P. hypocrisy continues. First, V.P. candidate Paul Ryan gets busted on lying about actually accepting stimulus funds (He earlier said he never has accepted government funds for his district) Then we learn that Ryan’s favorite band is Rage Against The Machine. What?….RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE????  

British Hard Rock legends UFO have confirmed that they will be returning to North America this Fall for a West Coast tour.  The band will be touring in support of their latest album Seven Deadly which was released earlier this year via Steamhammer/SPV.  The tour kicks off November 15th in Chicago, IL and is currently scheduled to wrap up December 1st in Corona, CA.  

For the last ten yoears, the band Chimaira has enthralled all us metalheads with their brand of heavy metal. Five Finger Death Punch has hit #1 with the band’s current single “Coming Down.”  The track is the tenth consecutive Top 10 hit at the Active Rock format, cementing the act’s position as one of the most relevant at the format.  Going back to “The Bleeding” in the spring of 2008.  Five Finger Death Punch is one of the most heavily played bands at rock radio, as “Never Enough,” “Stranger Than Fiction,” “Hard To See,” “Walk Away,” “Bad Company,” “Far From Home,” “Under And Over It,” and most recently “Remember Everything,” each has become an anthem in its own right.   

Speaking to their fans and media on the site of their 13th annual “Gathering of the Juggalos” music festival, the Insane Clown Posse expressed concern for the well-being of their fan base, which was labeled a “gang” by The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Gang Intelligence Center’s 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment.
