The Sword and their U.S. based label, Razor & Tie are pleased to announce that they have entered into a licensing agreement with Napalm Records for the European distribution of The Sword’s new studio album, Apocryphon. Based in Germany, Napalm has been for many years the home to major hard rock and metal acts in Europe. To support its European release, The Sword will commence a three week headline tour of the UK, Europe, and Scandinavia beginning on January 6th. Napalm recording artist Lonely Kamel will be one of the support acts with another act to be added.

With the recent passing of guitarist David Ellenburg, the band is continuing a project they were in the midsts of before Davids passing, recording the KISS song “Charisma” for the up coming tribute album “Rock & Roll All Nite: A Tribute to Kiss: 1974 – 2013”.
Canadian rock band Three Days Grace released the highly anticipated follow up to 2009’s Life Starts Now yesterday, Transit of Venus. Multi-platinum and Grammy nominated alternative rock band, Papa Roach have released their new album, The Connection (Eleven Seven Music) today.
