California alternative rock trio Smile Empty Soul has announced an extensive headlining tour, “The ‘Merican Chemicals Tour,” set to kick off next month. Support on the run will come from Acidic. A full list of confirmed tour-dates can be seen below.  

Having visited Europe and Australia for the last time, Bleeding Through will embark on their final US tour in November. “Love Live Bleeding Through/Farewell to the United States Tour” will feature support from Winds Of Plague, Oceano, Gideon and Sworn In.

The Used have announced a headlining tour for the month of October, kicking off on the 15th in Fresno, California running through October 25th in Boise, Idaho. Tickets are currently on sale at www.theused.net and William Control will be on tour supporting.  

Wyoming rock/metal act on the rise Righteous Vendetta has confirmed an extensive fall touring schedule, including a direct support slot to Taproot on the September/October “Fall to Action Tour” as well as a stint with Trapt beginning on Halloween. A list of all confirmed dates can be seen below.  

Jersey Metal legends, OVERKILL are entering the studio on Monday to begin tracking their next record due out sometime next year. The new material will be tracked at Gear Recording and mixed by Greg Reely, who also mixed “The Electric Age.”

A concept album about life and death in a decaying desert shithole of a hometown, little else has been released on the album other than it shall prove to be another bulldozing supply of booze and bong-friendly hardcore-infused sludge pulverization.  

Celebrated Swedish rock act, Horisont, are slated to release their third album this fall. “Time Warriors” will be released on September 30th in Europe via Rise Above Records and on October 1st in North America on Metal Blade Records. Since forming in 2006, this Swedish quintet have steadily established themselves as one of Europe’s premier underground rock bands.
