Swedish master of melancholy, Katatonia, has announced a four-disc CD/DVD set, Last Fair Day Gone Night, to be released September 30 on Peaceville. Last Fair Day Gone Night showcases the dark rock/metal band at its glorious best, complete with an electrifying set from London’s esteemed Koko venue, with the band’s captivating performance captured on DVD with accompanying double audio disc of the whole concert.  

Roadrunner Records group Opeth have announced details of their return to North America for a coast-to-coast co-headline run with In Flames.  

Pennsylvania’s Rivers of Nihil will be touring this September-October with fellow Reading natives, Black Crown Initiate. The “Reading Rainbow Tour” will begin on September 19 in Buffalo, NY and winds its way through RI, PA, MI, OH, and KY before wrapping up on October 3rd in their home town.
