With ORANGE GOBLIN‘s Back From The Abyss full-length now three weeks away from release, the band has confirmed the first North American tour in support of the record. Set to begin December 1st and run through December 21st, ORANGE GOBLIN will return to the stage touring alongside Down, Bl’ast, and, labelmates, King Parrot!

Critically-acclaimed sludge/doom veterans Sourvein have signed with Metal Blade Records! The new partnership’s first effort will be the release of the band’s fourth full-length album, “Aquatic Occult” in 2015. The album is scheduled to be recorded with Corrosion of Conformity’s Mike Dean in early 2015 and will finally see its release later that year. Sourvein main man Troy “T-Roy” Medlin was interviewed by friend and fellow musician, Randy Blythe of Lamb of God fame, who penned the band’s new biography. He Is Legend has announced that they will be on tour this winter with legendary punk/funk/rock band Snot. The US tour begins on 11/28 in Palm Desert, CA and wraps up in Pomona, CA on 12/23. SNOT will be reuniting to perform their album Get Some in its entirety. Thira and Lydia Can’t Breathe will provide additional support. Trollhättan, Sweden-based GUST this week releases their self-titled, sophomore LP via Southern Lord, a breakneck, nearly half-hour-long album signals the band’s first release on the label and is streaming in its entirety right now.

ProgPower USA has announced the line up for ProgPower XVI, which will include Falconer‘s final live performance.
