The Italian thrash-death-killing-machine METHEDRAS have signed with storied American label Pavement Music for the November 11 worldwide release of new album System Subversion.  

    California’s HUNTRESS will be touring North Amercia this fall with Arch Enemy and Kreator in support of their latest release, 2013’s Starbound Beast. The tour begins October 23rd in Baltimore, MD and runs through November 23rd in Cleveland, OH.

Austin-based hardcore/death crossover outfit MAMMOTH GRINDER has confirmed a three-week tour late this fall, joining Santa Cruz progressive death metal outfit Inanimate Existence as support for Richmond’s bongblasters Cannabis Corpse. The tour will begin in the Southeast, with the first show in Wilmington, North Carolina on November 28th, and whip counter-clockwise through the country across the Gulf Coast, up through California then eastward through the Midwest and back down the East Coast, coming to a halt in Richmond on December 20th.  

Today, the massive SOUTHWEST TERROR FEST III: THE WESTERN FRONT begins in Tucson, Arizona, taking over the town for four solid days of brutal musical acts from across the Western half of the country. With the main event shows this Friday, Saturday and Sunday night taking place at the historic Rialto Theatre, with tonight’s kickoff show and afterparty shows at the nearby The District Tavern, the third year of SOUTHWEST TERROR FEST is by far the most massive installment yet.  

Goatwhore have launched a brand new music video for the track “Nocturnal Conjuration of the Accursed.” The song is from their latest collection of NOLA-flavored extreme metal cuts, entitled “Constricting Rage of the Merciless.“  

NIGHT DEMON from Ventura County (just north of Los Angeles) have recently signed with Century Media for the world outside of Europe for an early 2015 release. Refusing to slide comfortably into your music library, CHILD BITE can lurch from synth-driven punk to yelping, sax-soaked art-rock to thundering, ugly sludge.... 

In support of his recently released solo debut I Am The Fire, OZZY OSBOURNE / FIREWIND guitarist GUS G. will tour the North American west coast this week with LYNAM as support. Jeff Scott Soto (TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, ex-JOURNEY) will also join GUS G. for these dates, lending his vocals for the set; Marty O’Brien (LITA FORD; bass) and Jo Nunez (FIREWIND; drums) will be the backing band on the run.
